ok, so i agree that the four person practice got some stuff done but only FOR FOUR PEOPLE!!!! So be prepared to be given an essay propt on monday as follows: why the hell I wasn't at practice on Saturday. You better have your speeches perfect.

What we really need is some motivation. There is two ways this can be achieved...One: public praise. Two: Public ridicule. I personally think public ridicule is a much stronger motivator, but I think many people would prefer public praise.

OK. Here's my suggestion. I have fallen asleep soooooooooo many times trying to read those packets straight through that I have a little system. WE have eleven days until regionals. You have six subjects that you can really review/study for, (seven if you include Math as a studiable item) so see if you can do one each night. Not the ENTIRE thing, but those varsity packets, and you can split one or two between lyk 2 or three nights (meaning spending one night on every other subject). I read them aloud to keep myself awake, but then I'm a verbal thinker. Those super quiz scores weren't good. Not at all. Sooo read that packet aloud forward and back and do the CD ROM (i finally got it to work).

speaking of the life of a nerd, i'm somewhat disappointed in our super quiz performance, mine included. I realize that the past week has been brutal with health, and homework, for me anyway. i just want to say, what we did right before the last little competition is what we need to do right now. You all do realize we have but a week and a half before regionals. Even though you should move on to lang/lit to keep up in class, i don't want to go embarassing ourselves on the super quiz orals, and I want practice for getting carlson a mohawk. Keep studying super quiz on top, or below, whichever, of the rest of the subjects we're covbering. I haven't said this about the other subjects, because we have different strangths, but I don't think anyone would place super quiz as their strength. Ok guys, just to wrap up, keep up with the acaschedule, but also study more super quiz, and just if you didn't realize it, keep studying the subjects you are weakest in. I'm gonna work on social science, super quiz, lang/lit, and music. Right right, sorry for the long blogs, phew, I'm off my podium. (podium?) -Swans

In addition, Tim, if we can't blame you for being asleep in acadec, whom do we blame? It would seem to me that it is directly your fault that you are just now completing the book, and also your fault that you have left the questions to now. However much you may like to blame your teacher, much of the blame should be placed directly upon you for neglecting the work, i refuse to not blame you, i'm taking a stand to do just the opposite, if you are asleep tomorrow in acadec, I hold you entirely responsible. -Swans
