as in the robot on the page if you press the little "view web page" button on the upper left hand corner of this little post window. -Swans
my eyes hurt from music. hehe, PCP is wonderful. No, not really, but I listened to the cd twice all the way through while reading the resources on the composer and song. Wow, and that's only for like 12 out of 50 questions. Ya'll have speeches? You best. I'm memorizing mine. I want ya'll to plan on getting enough sleep tomorrow night. I know different people can deal with less, or more sleep, but like, if only you all knew how tiring these competitions are. Like, take one you've been to, and add the nervousness of giving a speech to it, the pressure of it being a real competition, and the sweat increase from wearing a suit (for the guys anyway). Well, it's really taxing, so be ready with full bellies, and rested minds. OOOOOOOOO, I'm so excited. -Swans
oh yeah, you guys like the robot?
ummm, so what's really going on after awards on satruday? Like, permission slips for people to "go home" with my parents? Anyone else's parents driving? Really, if we fail to plan, we're planning to fail. -Swans

a glorious award indeed. 18 years of experience tell me, go ahead and abuse your younger siblings, or older, they will only grow stronger by night, and strike back when you feel safest. -Swans
does everyone else feel some tension now that we're on towards regionals? i know I do. It's all like, coming to something, and if we don't pull it off, it's like we're total failures. i don't know, it's a really stressful time, I remember it was last year, just don't let it get to you, remember it's all fun. So much fun. Swans

let me tell y'all something...

far from the madding crowd would NEVER even win ONE Jeff award...multi? HA!
I award all the Jeff Awards to "The Nine Lives of Fritz the Cat"...the finest film ever made.
released in 1974...animated animal historical fiction with a psychedelic/pornographic bent to it...go buy it...or at least rent it.
hmmmm. She's got a point.
OK, um, Jen and anyone else listening. We read Super Quiz and did a lot of work on our speeches and practice with improptu. We also found a cool CD with, "Dancing in the Moonlight" on it, but then we listened to the Acadec CD.
sorry about the other comments. I was just kind of mad; I don't know where anyone else is witht his stuff, but I feel like I'm drowning. I did get through a lot of super quiz this weekend and am planning on studying one subject every night until Reigionals. Hope you all are studying, Carlson is avaliable to draw pictures, if need be.
Far From the Madding Crowd
By Thomas Hardy
Adapted by Christina Calvit
Directed by Dorothy Milne

This world premier adaptation is from the adaptor and director of Lifeline’s mutli-Jeff winning Jane Eyre. Set in Hardy’s Wessex, England, independent Bethsheba is wooed by three determined suitors. Romantic...comic...tragic...Hardy’s tale is rich with insight into the complicated workings of the human heart.

btw, I know you are all annoyed that few people showed up on Saturday, I think that's been made quite clear, so 1 I think you could stop now, 2 I think that we need to act more like a team, if someone missed stop harassing them about 'essay topics' etc... and instead tell them politely that 'hey you missed, we did a lot, this is what we covered.....' to try to catch them up and then suggest (or tell) them that they need to be there next time. As for legitimate excuses I was in California, being thousands of miles away I think was very legitimate, but I would like TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED INSTEAD OF HOW ANGRY EVERYONE IS. I'm glad people are upset, but we need to know what was missed with the criticism instead of only the criticism. Thank you

Jen
